TAMAN NEGARA NATIONAL PARK

Taman Negara National Park is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers visiting Malaysia. Located in the heart of the country, Taman Negara is one of the oldest and most well-preserved rainforests in the world, covering an area of over 4,000 square kilometres. The park is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, including over 300 species of birds, 200 species of mammals, and countless species of reptiles, amphibians, and insects. Visitors can explore the park’s diverse ecosystem by trekking the jungle trails, which vary in difficulty and length. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, Taman Negara also offers river rafting on the Kampar and Tahan rivers.
