Sree Padmanabhaswami Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is known for its stunning architecture, which is a blend of Kerala and Dravidian styles. One of the main attractions of the temple is the idol of Lord Vishnu, which is in a reclining position on the serpent Anantha, which has 5 hoods facing inwards, symbolizing contemplation. TRIVANDRUM ZOO

Thiruvananthapuram Zoological Park is spread over 55 acres of lush greenery and is home to a wide variety of animal species from India and around the world. The zoo was established in 1859 and is one of the oldest zoos in India. It is known for its conservation efforts and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The zoo houses over 80 species of animals, including the Indian rhinoceros, Asiatic lion, Royal Bengal tiger, Nilgiri langur, Indian giant squirrel, and many more. TRIVANDRUM MUSEUM

Trivandrum Museum, also known as the Napier Museum, is an art and natural history museum located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India. The museum was established in 1855 by the Maharaja of Travancore and is named after Lord Napier, the governor of Madras Presidency from 1866 to 1872. The museum has a wide range of exhibits, including archaeological artefacts, numismatics, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, ivory carvings, and musical instruments. The natural history section of the museum has a fascinating collection of butterflies, birds, and mammals, including a 100-year-old skeleton of a whale. The museum was established in 1935 by the then King of Travancore, Sree Chithira Thirunal, and is located near the Napier Museum.
